The type of music magazine I have decided to make is a grime magazine based on upcoming youths. The purpose of my magazine is that it shows the targeted audience of rising stars of the grime scene. The idea of the magazine come from my personal background and what I’ve been brought up around which involves the streets where grime is taken place everywhere you go. My magazine is aimed at people who revolve around music on the grime scene that are aged from 16-21. This will affect the design of my magazine because I got to make it presentable in a way it'll grab attention to their eyes because it’s hard to impress customers when you are new on the market and not an existing company. For the magazine that I’ve created and now published, I had to think about many things on what it will be based on, such as the colours, images, titles, text, etc. For the colour I went for a simple theme to go with which was using the colours black & white to make it look professional along with colours that may be suitable with the page I create. I used the colours black & white mainly just for the fact to make it look more appealling and fits well with any colour if I was to add a colour. I used number of images which I’ll right about when I show an image of every page which I’ve created and talk about the colour, images, titles and text.

For my front page the colour theme I went for was black and white because personally I find it appealling and it stands out which most customers my age would find it eye catching. I used a range of fonts for different purposes but they all was large and bold so it catches the audiences eyes with the headings they'd find inside the issue. The background image used was a long shot image with other smaller images placed on the page that are mid shot images.
For my contents page I kept it simple as possible by keeping it plain with a white and black theme with no other colours used. I used the same layout as the front cover by keeping the title of my magazine on the contents page at top so they remember the name of the magazine so it can be recommended to others. Also used some graphics on this page with the star, 3circular design and a splash. 1 image was used on this page and it was an image of myself which I made blend in with the white background of the page with a black outline so you know where I've placed it on this page. For my double page spreed the colour theme I used went along with the background image and the image placed on the page which was black, white, purple and yellow as you can see for yourself. I used a mid shot image on this page; I've only used 3 images but 2 was made into 1 image which you can see on my background, where I've duplicated the image but made it face the opposite direction. The layout I went for throughout the magazine was having the title of the magazine at the bottom of each page.

In between these days i have established and completed a lot. From this date it started off with me setting myself certain deadlines to complete each taks by. My 1st task envolved planning and researching for my music magazine. My 2nd task was that I set myself to go out in the weekend and get pictures taken for my magazine. The 3rd task involved making the template and design of my magazine cover, contents and double page spread. My 4th task was the hardest task and that was to get all the information put in it. Lastly i had to present my work.

Planning
The type of school magazine im going to design is for a music college.
The purpose of my magazine is that it shows that there is an opportunity for everyone in life. Basically the idea of this magazine is that it shows its for the teenagers who do not get accepted in life due to the matter of fact that they have a criminal record with a bad past; this college gives people a chance for a better future unlike other schools/colleges in the local borough.
The audience that my magazine is aimed at the students who are aged 16-19. This will affect the design of my magazine because I got to make it presentable in a way it'll grab attention to their eyes becuase they are hard to impress.For the magazine I created I had to think about what I want on it based on the colours, images, titles, text, etc. For the colour i went for a theme to go with which was using the colours green, black & white because the college is based in the Bromley borough so thought i'd use green and black and white just make the colours look more appealing and fits well with any colour. I used one image which is the center mid shot image of myself to show what young people who wouldn't get accepted due to the fact they are street wise rather then thinking logically about life and what they need to do so music is what they'd be based at especially around the grime industry. I've used an effective title because it stands out most on the page.
